March 13, 2010: Signal Knob Hike with Capital Hiking Club
Welcome spring with one of the area's classic hikes. Ascend view-filled Signal Knob Trail then hike along the Meneka Peak Trail and finish up with a descent on the Tuscarora Trail. Hikers who choose to go long add a side trip to the summit overlook featuring more great views and a Civil War signal tower.
Distance: short hike - 8.0 miles; long hike - 10.5 miles
